Property Investing with IPS - February 2008 Newsletter
Welcome to the first 2008 edition of the Indigo Property Solutions (IPS) newsletter.
Indigo Property Solutions (previously known as Investment Property Solutions) is proud to present you with our new look service and inaugural newsletter for 2008. Due to the recent sale of RAMS Home Loans, we are no longer formally associated with RAMS. IPS does however still maintain a close working relationship with RAMS. Our branding and name may have changed, but our quality of service and personnel have not.

So welcome to the IPS inaugural newsletter, we look forward to continuing to provide you with the latest market information, research and commentary on a regular basis.
This year we'll continue to make available to you exclusive pre-releases and unique purchasing opportunities not available to the general public, including some of Australia's finest developments in Cairns, Brisbane and Melbourne which are now generally accepted as being the strongest performing residential markets in Australia.
The year 2007 ended with a bang, brought about by significant changes in the domestic and world economies, politics, and local and international property/share markets. For example we experienced a change in government, a persistent rise in interest rates, the sub prime financial market fallout, commercial and economic flow on affects from the reported potential US recession, share market record highs and increased pressure on national rental vacancies (now at record lows) to mention just a few.
The big question on most investors' minds is how does all this affect investing in property in 2008 and will there be any real opportunities to speak of?
We are happy to report, that we believe 2008 presents an outstanding opportunity, the likes of which we haven't seen since the late 80's and early 90's.
Our first feature article for this year "2008 Property Investment Essentials" explains why we believe this year represents outstanding timing to invest in residential property.
We hope you enjoy the first edition of the IPS newsletter, and thank you for your continued support. Most importantly we wish you the very best with your investments in 2008.
Regards

2008 Property Investment Essentials
At an initial glance across the various national media, we could be forgiven for gaining a fairly negative attitude to investment prospects for 2008. Yet on closer scrutiny, there is a series of strong indicators, and irrefutable evidence for selective property investment today.
What are the key issues, where are the opportunities, and how can we best capitalise on the 2008 property market?
And with affordability being critical, how can we look to increasing investment yields and strong capital growth?
Property in Focus
Each month we will provide an update of one of our previously recommended properties.

Just a small note to thank Brent and IPS for all the great advice not only for our first investment property, but more recently our second.
Looking back some 4 years ago we would never have thought it possible to have one property, least of all two properties. It was Brent's professional and easy going personality which immediately made us feel able to trust him with his advice and also feel comfortable asking questions which we may not have asked had he not been so welcoming.
We not only hope to continue a professional relationship with Brent in the future but also class him as a friend.
